I first met Jody when I took her photography class in the fall of 2011. I had just gotten a fancy new SLR camera and had no idea how to use it. I immediately liked Jody and her teaching style so when I found out I was pregnant a few months later, she was the natural choice for our baby’s newborn photos. Because Jody is so great at what she does, I scheduled a tentative appointment several months before my due date. Jody kept in touch around the due date and since I was a week late with my delivery, she was very flexible about rescheduling the date we had initially agreed upon. The day of the photos, she came to our house and made us feel so comfortable and happy to have her there. She was a real baby whisperer and got some fabulous shots of our sweet baby. She even made me look good which is hard to do for a new mom who’s getting very little sleep and still hanging on to a lot more post delivery pounds than I expected. We saw Jody again last week now that our daughter is almost 11 months old. She was amazing with her, and I couldn’t believe how Jody got her to smile and focus on the camera. We haven’t gotten those photos back yet but I know they will be awesome! I can’t wait to see them! Jody has a gift and is definitely a smart choice for baby pictures. – Danielle J.
We have trusted some of our most precious moments to Jody Lynn Photography and were not disappointed!
